Godzilla and King Kong seem very eager to settle their long-standing grudge.
Warner Bros. says his “Godzilla vs. Kong” mega-monster mash-up will be released on March 26, two months ahead of schedule.
The film will be shown simultaneously in theaters and on the HBO Max streaming service, reports Variety.
The film cost $ 160 million, making profitability by far given the pandemic-related cinemas shutdowns, the outlet noted.
In December, Warner Bros. tested the hybrid, movie and streaming release of “Wonder Woman 1984”; that movie cost $ 200 million to make but only recouped $ 132 million, Variety noted.
