A new teaser for Godzilla vs. Kong features footage that highlights a softer side of Kong, suggesting he might not be as monstrous as we thought.

Two of the world’s most famous giant monsters will face each other again in March in the next Godzilla vs. Kong. As the two beasts are set to fight in the long-awaited film, new teaser images show the softer side of Scion of Skull Island.

Originally slated to debut in 2020, Godzilla vs. Kong has been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It will now be released both in theaters and on HBO Max on March 26. Regular teaser footage is released leading up to the film’s official trailer. It was announced by Legendary Pictures, along with a movie poster, that the trailer will be released on Sunday, January 24.

Legends collide as Godzilla and Kong, the two most powerful forces in nature, face off on the big screen in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into fantastic unknown terrain, unearthing clues to the very origins of the Titans, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe creatures, good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.

Directed by Adam Wingard and written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein, Godzilla vs. Kong stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry. The film arrives in theaters and on HBO Max on March 26.
