Reviews on Godzilla vs Kong
The reviews are for Godzilla, with Slashfilm’s Chris Evangelista writing that “Godzilla vs. Kong is an unpretentious movie. He knows exactly what he wants to do, and what he wants to do is have monsters destroy buildings as they throw punches at This is ultimately what this franchise is built towards: a movie about monsters, not humans. “
To IGN, Zaki Hasan writes, “Godzilla vs. Kong knows exactly what he wants to be, and invests every minute of his two hours to live up to that promise. It is understandable that humans are eclipsed by their huge co-stars, but it’s a glorious love letter to the collective stories of these iconic characters. “
Steven weintraub de Collider said, “The Godzilla and Kong stuff is why you pay to see this movie on an IMAX screen. They each have scenes that show their power and the 3rd act is awesome.” Brandon davis from the Phase Zero podcast tweeted, “It’s like Fast & Furious but with giant monsters,” and that “It’s a big, ridiculous, awesome movie.”
Scott mendelson de Forbes provided the dissenting opinion calling it “good,” and said “this is another” revamped and lightened course correction for the masses, “” before comparing it to Joss Whedon’s Justice League.
Godzilla vs Kong Trailer
The most popular trailer for the Warner Bros. movie, the Godzilla vs Kong trailer racked up over 15 million views in its first 24 hours.
The clip begins with footage of Godzilla attacking a town. Photo analysis suggests this is supposed to be in South America, and we soon learn that Godzilla has torn the world apart.
A voice says “this is our only chance,” and we see Kong being dispatched via his standard method of travel: the freighter. Either he’s sleeping or he’s not in good shape, I tend to be tranquilizer. Apparently that’s what Monarch does.
“We need Kong,” says Alexander Skarsgård. And that’s our setup. Kong is poised to be Earth’s Mightiest Hero, battling our thorniest pain in the ass. The only problem? Kong only communicates through a small child.
After some standard “military vs. Godzilla” action – where Monarch’s weapons (unsurprisingly) don’t scratch the King of the Monsters – we get down to business.
Kong wakes up. Godzilla comes out of the water. And they throw the biggest shots you’ve seen since Ant-Man got up at the airport in Captain America: Civil War.
At the end of the trailer, there’s even a UFO sighting if you squint. Additionally, Kong fights with two new titans, a pair of winged beasts. According to a product leak, these are Nozuki and Warbat.
Godzilla vs Kong: appearance of Mechagodzilla
A new trailer in Chinese gave us our first glimpse of Mechagodzilla, which was always anticipated for the film. Review 1:16 in the clip to see it for yourself.

Godzilla vs Kong story
This is the last chapter of the MonsterVerse which started in 2014 Godzilla. There we heard about the Monarch organization, which started in the 1950s, and participated in the H-Bomb attack on Godzilla at Bikini Atoll.
While this is the highlight of these movies, don’t expect it to be the conclusion. The trailer suggests we’re about to open a huge box of Pandora’s monsters. In this chapter, Monarch seeks to uncover the truth about the origin of the Titans.
