We have already addressed the Android Enterprise Recommended program several times in the past. This is a list of phones and tablets recommended by Google for business. All devices in the program run a recent version of Android, receive regular security updates, and work with a zero-key registration. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL have now joined the party.

All phones in the Pixel family are currently included in the Enterprise Recommended program. It is therefore logical that the 3a is now added. Its good performance and average cost could be of interest to companies looking to buy large quantities of phones for their employees, especially since 3a will be one of the first Android phones to receive monthly security updates.

In a statement to the Android Police, Google said: "The Pixel 3a provides enterprise-level security and monthly security updates, the Titan M chip and a consistent Google user experience, making it a powerful choice for companies looking for performance and assistance with contactless registration at an affordable price.
