Rumors about an orange Pixel 4 were confirmed Tuesday when Google released a massive advertising billboard in Times Square to promote the release of the phone on October 15th. Captured by a Reddit user, this photo is the latest in a continuous stream of leaks regarding the hardware of the new phone. But we still do not know if the color will be available for both Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

The October 15 event will be broadcast live and will mark the first Pixel launch since Google confirmed a change at the top of the Pixel team in August.

In the footsteps of the respective iPhone 11 of Apple and Samsung and Galaxy Note phone After 10 series launches, Google unveiled Pixel 4 in a cautious market where phone shipments are steadily declining. Despite rave reviews, sales of the Google Pixel series were poor, prompting the search giant to launch the cheapest Pixel 3A in May.

Earlier this year, Ruth Porat, Google's chief financial officer, said during a call for results that Pixel sales had dropped due to "recent pressure in the premium smartphone market".

The first official images of Pixel 4 appeared in mid-June, when Google tweeted the phone and confirmed rumors two rear cameras on the XL. The phone should also have a front-facing camera, a 90Hz screen, better SIM dialing capabilities and an Android 10 operating system.

Other hardware features include a notch and two speaker grids on either side of the USB-C port. The volume and power buttons should be on the right side, while the left side is missing buttons. No fingerprint scanners are expected.

The news regarding the Times Square billboard had already been reported by 9to5Google.
