Google launches a new update for its Duo video call application on Android and iOS. The company finally introduces the ability to make group video calls on the app, allowing you to create your own groups on Duo and make video calls.
Google Duo allows you to make group video calls with up to 8 people, which is significantly lower than FaceTime's 32 and 50 Skype. It's all the same good. Duo is primarily aimed at family friends and no more than 8 people at a time. The feature works for Android and iOS users.
Google is also introducing a new way of backing up data for Android users and regions like Indonesia, India and Brazil, which allows users to save on the use of data during video calls.
The company also allows users to personalize video messages by adding text and pulling their videos, much like Snapchat. This feature is now available on Android, the availability of iOS coming soon.
