Google gives Pixel Slate $ 200, Core m3 now at $ 599

Compared to the Pixelbook, the Pixel Slate announced last October did not achieve such satisfactory results in terms of performance and lack of praise from critics. Software updates continue to address the previous problem, while the Google Store is now offering a $ 200 discount on the Chrome OS family of tablets.

When the Pixel Slate was first launched at the end of last year, its base price was $ 599 for an Intel Celeron chip, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. However, both models with these chips are perpetually out of stock since their launch.

This weekend (via Android font)Google has reduced the price of the actual entry model from $ 799 to $ 599. This new price offers an 8th generation Intel Core m3 processor, 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, double the specifications for the same price.

The Core i5 model with 128GB of storage now costs $ 799 instead of $ 999 and the core Core i7 product with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs $ 1,399 (vs. $ 1,599). This temporary rebate begins today and ends on June 6, 2019.

Google Pixel Slate discount

For the Google Store, this is the most aggressive reduction on the Slate pixel so far. Price reductions in the range of $ 200 are generally limited to the range of Pixel phones.

Save $ 200 on the Google Pixel Slate m3, i5 and i7 tablets. Starts May 26, 2019 at 00:00 and ends June 6, 2019 at 23:59, while supplies last, subject to availability. US residents only.

Several major retailers have also discounted the Chrome OS tablet, including Amazon, Best Buy and B & H Photo. Unfortunately, Google has not updated the 199-pixel Pixel Slate keyboard or the 99-pixel Pixelbook pen. The Brydge G-TYPE keyboard is also still $ 159.99. For a complete experience as a productivity device, the keyboard is an essential accessory. Unfortunately, Google did not go to the end.
