Google has created a video game called Game Builder this allows you to make simple objects Minecraft-style games for you and others to play. The game lets you drag characters and sets into an empty sandbox to build your world, and then use predefined commands to chain the interactions between elements. It is free to play and available on both Windows and MacOS.

The game comes from Area 120, Google's experimental projects incubator (some of which have quickly disappeared, others have been integrated with other Google products). Game Builder is currently available on Steam since November 1 (it already has 190 reviews, with a "very positive" score), but Google has announced it today, which will not fail to play much more world.

Game Builder has a coop mode, so that more than one person can create a game together at a time. You can also share your creations and browse games created by others.

While the goal of the game is to allow people to start designing without having any coding expertise, the game allows them to be more advanced as their interest grows. The interaction system works with the logic "if that, then", and the players can create their own interactions with JavaScript if they know it well.
