Google Home is about to experience one of its biggest upgrades in years

Google Home is the series of connected homes established by the US technology giant that was launched in 2016.

Although the device initially debuted in a single mode, Google has since released several versions of the range of hardware, each varying in price, sound quality and form factor.

The cheapest version of the series of connected homes is the Google Home Mini – the hardware can be purchased for just £ 49.

Google Home Mini was launched in 2017. The device offers a decent sound for its size, but certainly delivers the lowest audio of all Google Home products.

The main selling point of the speaker lies in the fact that he integrates the Google Signing Assistant.

This means that homeowners are able to ask the device a way to ask questions and ask them to perform various tasks.

9to5Google recently released a report claiming that Mountain View was planning to post a "follow up" on the Google Home Mini system.

The product would be called "Nest Mini", confirming Google's earlier confirmation that its Home speakers would eventually receive the Nest brand.

At the Google I / O Developer Conference in May, the company announced that the name of the Google Home Hub was becoming the Google Nest hub.

In addition, the company also announced a new smart screen called Google Nest Hub Max.

The brand change is part of Google's effort to bring its Home speakers and Nest equipment into one denomination convention.

9to5Google said the Nest Mini would not be much different from the Home Mini in terms of pure scale.

However, the release, quoting a source close to the record, said the new material would give "improved sound" to "higher maximum volume" and "better bass".

In addition, it was noted that the Nest Mini would come with an integrated wall mount.

However, it was not detailed what it would look like.

Finally, the new smart speaker had to have a 3.5 millimeter stereo port and proximity sensors.

It is assumed that the new equipment will be sold at a price similar to that of the current Home Mini.

Google is expected to host a hardware event this year, during which its new Pixel 4 smartphone will be unveiled in its entirety.

It's possible that the Nest Mini claimant will debut alongside the handset.
