Google One Paid Storage Service Offers More Phone Backup Features

If you do not have a Google One subscription yet, you can consider one after the latest improvements to the paid storage service. Mountain View has announced that Google One now has additional backup features on its Android devices.

Google has taken standard Android backup, which includes text, contacts and applications, and has improved with additional features such as automatic phone backup. In addition, Google One subscribers will be able to save original photos, videos, and multimedia messages (MMS).

Plus, users will have the ability to manage their backups directly from the Google One app. The storage service will allow users to get everything they need to be restored when setting up their next Android phone.

Google One subscribers should expect the new automatic phone backup feature to be available this week. Just open the Google One app and go to the "Device Backup" section to discover the new enhancements.
