Google Pixel 4 XL has filtered in many videos: colors, camera samples

Pixel 4 leaks are starting to feel even more frequent than the avalanche of videos and photos that preceded last year's announcement Pixel 3 and 3 XL. The most complete appearance on the new Google phone so far is an opportunity for us to see two major video tours of the Pixel 4 XL.

The first is from YouTube channel AnhEm TV, which released a six-and-a-half-minute clip showing the white model. It has a matte backboard and matte black sides. It is said that the lateral texture is reminiscent of the adherent metal finish of the black Pixel 2. There is a lot going on, but it's a nice reminder of the "panda" style of the old Pixel 2 XL.

Also in the AnhEm TV clip, we see a menu setting for Smooth Display. The Pixel 4 XL software confirms that the phone will have a high refresh display that can dynamically switch between 60Hz and 90Hz, depending on the content displayed on the screen. Google notes that smoother scrolling can impact the life of the battery. So you have the option to turn off the Smooth Display display and stick to 60 Hz all the time.

The video then goes on a guided tour of the Pixel 4 camera, which is clearly in an unfinished state in this version of the software. Interestingly, the viewfinder occupies all the display and curves with the material.

A hardware detection application running on the XL 4 confirms that it has a 6.23-inch screen (3040 x 1440 resolution), a Snapdragon 855 processor, and 6 GB of RAM. And I've also spotted what looks like a voice memo application / audio recorder delivered to the phone. It has been a long time since this range of Android applications is a strange omission of Google. So we hope to learn more about it soon.

The second video, from the Rabbit TV channel, includes the three colors of the Pixel 4 XL, including the coral / orange version, also with a matte finish. The black model is the only one that seems to have a glossy finish.

Google should not announce Pixel 4 completely until October; a recent rendition of the phone hinted that the event could take place on October 15th. There is plenty of time until then, so you can expect to receive even more details about Pixel 4 in the coming weeks. Already seen, indeed.

None of these videos contain any demonstration of Project Soli's actions that Google has confirmed over the phone. This is probably because they are not part of the first software of these devices or that the functionality may not be available where they were filmed.
