Google presents three new reports in the search console

[ad_1]

Google introduces three new reports into the Search Console, all of which are structured data.

New enhancement reports for structured data 'Sitelinks' and 'Logo' join existing reports on revenue, events, job postings and more.

Improvement reports display overall trends of errors, warnings, and valid items on a site. They also display warnings and errors per page.

Here is an example of an improvement report:

Google introduces three new Search Console reports "width =" 640 "height =" 276 "size =" (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px "data-srcset =" https://cdn.searchenginejournal.com/ wp-content /uploads/2019/05/enhancement-report.png 640w, https://cdn.searchenginejournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/enhancement-report-480x207.png 480w "data-src = "https: //cdn.searchenginejournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/enhancement-report.png

Users can click on the colored boxes to examine each problem separately. By clicking on one of the lines below the boxes, you will see which pages are currently affected by the problems.

The third new report is the report "Unstable structured data":

"We are also pleased to launch the Unparsable Structured Data report, which includes analysis issues such as structured data syntax errors that prevented Google from identifying the type of feature. This is why these problems are grouped here instead of the specific feature report provided. "

In other words, users can view this report to see if there is structured data on a site that Google could not identify because of a crawl error.

Here is an example of what it looks like:

Google presents three new reports from the Search Console "width =" 640 "height =" 466 "size =" (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px "data-srcset =" https://cdn.searchenginejournal.com/ wp-content /uploads/2019/05/unparsable.png 640w, https://cdn.searchenginejournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/unparsable-480x350.png 480w "data-src =" https: / / cdn. searchenginejournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/unparsable.png

All elements of the report are errors. It does not report warnings or valid items. Finding an error in analysis could create opportunities for richer results for a site.

If you are solving a problem in the unparsed structured data report, do not forget to run the URL through Google's structured data test tool. This will allow you to validate the fix.
