Google Search’s inventory map is modernizing

[ad_1]

Google offers a dedicated finance portal that brings you news in addition to charts and other trending data. That said, most people just type in stock symbols in search to find stock prices, as Google recently revamped the desktop experience.

Just like the weather last month, the inventory card in Google search has been slightly modified. The same principles of organization and placement are in place with the current price shown in the upper left corner, while the stock symbol (and its location) is at the far right. This new search design language is defined by immediately showing what people are looking for.

Underneath it, in green or red, is the recent movement and closing date, as well as the current after-hours price.

The graphic has been changed so that the tabs for different time increments use material theme components. Finally, the information that appears below is unchanged, but now organized in three columns for easier reading.

This redesign of the inventory map for Google Desktop search is now widely deployed.
