Google has announced another update for Chrome OS. This time he brought unexpected features for Chromebooks and Pixel Slates. Key features include better multimedia navigation between tabs, more photo modes, and easier way to clean notifications.
Google releases new updates every six weeks, but this has caught our attention, especially because of the portrait mode and the square mode. We understand that some people take pictures with their tablets, including a Slate Pixel, but we simply can not understand why anyone would use a 12.3-inch device when a simple smartphone does a much better job .
Multimedia enhancements include clear markup for all tabs and applications that deliver wider and more efficient sound, so you can control them more easily – rewind, next track, play / pause buttons are more visible – in the same way as Android.
The simplest way to clean up notifications is a simple "Clear All" button that was a long-standing problem with Google's standard operating systems. Now, Chrome OS joins Android Pie by being better behind than ever since many other mobile UI platforms implemented the feature several moons ago.
