Google announced today that it has added new features to the Lenovo smart clock and, presumably, to future smart clocks.
"Lenovo Smart Clock comes with Google Assistant, so it can help you better manage your morning and evening routines," says Mert Topcu of Google. "Lenovo Smart Clock also works with most cameras that work with the wizard, so you can always see the device in front of your door when your hands are full."
Two new features based on a wizard are now available on the Smart Clock:
Photo album. As with a smart display, you'll be able to use your smart clock as an animated digital photo album with images from your Google Photos account or featured photos provided by Google.
Continuation of the conversation. A new optional parameter for Continuous Conversation will allow you to have a natural conversation with the assistant (English first to start).
Google announces that these new features will be included in an automatic update this week. The Lenovo Smart Clock is now available for sale in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia and Japan. soon in India and other countries.
