Google has finally planned to present what the iPhone users had for years. According to the documentation of Android Q, Android Q should natively support the 3D Touch type feature called "deep press". Although both mean pretty much the same thing, the name "deep press" makes more sense compared to 3D-Touch.
The feature will allow you to perform various actions such as displaying the context menu without having to press here or there several times. Just tell your fingers to put extra pressure and this will do the trick for you.
This is the beginning and the feature has not yet been integrated with Android Q Build. Therefore, we have not been able to see it in action. Assuming that the feature works more or less like iOS, there is a major problem: compatibility. It is unclear whether existing smartphones running Android Q will be able to take advantage of the new feature or will be left out.
It's been four years (almost) since Apple launched the 3D-Touch feature on the iPhone 6s and with each new iPhone, the 3D-Touch has become more feature-rich. That said, I think this year's Google I / O will see Google talking a lot about functionality and you may find that the company takes things seriously on the iPhone, but for that to happen, it has to be effective.
