Google will leave China for GTFO and relocate production to Vietnam

According to new reports from Nikkei, Google is moving "aggressively" production of its Pixel smartphones out of China and Vietnam.

Google's decision to pull out its pixel production from China seems to be going against Trump's tariff measures on the country. Google dislodges production in the country for long-term benefits. Vietnam is also a new hotspot for cheap wages, as China can not offer the same rates of labor as slaves.

Google is seeking to reduce the costs (labor-related) of dramas and pricing risks by transferring Pixel production to Vietnam. Specifically, it seems that Google is monitoring an old Nokia factory in the Vietnamese province of Bac Ninh. Google is in the process of repackaging the factory, so that it can start manufacturing for next-generation Pixel smartphones, I guess, beyond the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones on the verge be marketed.
