The app will also allow users to copy and record transcripts, which will be stored locally on an Android phone for three days, Google announced in a blog announcing the changes.

Another addition to accessibility is the increase in the size of the audio visualization indicator.

The updates will be deployed in June.

Google Wednesday also announced Translatotron, a "new experimental system" which, it is said, will translate speech directly into speech, eliminating the need for text.

This means faster translation speed and less complex errors, according to Google.
