The congressman went on to write that Biden had failed in his duties as commander-in-chief.
“As Commander-in-Chief, Biden is directly responsible for commanding our brave troops with a cohesive, strategic and robust operation that keeps our armed forces, citizens and allied partners safe,” Donalds wrote.
“He failed on all fronts,” he added.

Donalds is one of many GOP lawmakers who have criticized Biden for his handling of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan after the Taliban took control of Kabul last weekend, triggering chaos and rapidly deteriorating the security situation in the country.
Other Republicans have also called on Biden to step down in light of developments in Afghanistan, including Representatives Jefferson Van Drew (NJ) and Andy Biggs (Arizona).
