Another user joked: “Maybe someday if I win the lottery”.

“£ 25 for this fish!” Scam, I could eat for a week for that, ”wrote a third.

However, some of his supporters came to his defense and said they were delighted to try the cuisine at the River Restaurant.

‘Lots of jealous comments on this thread. If you don’t like its food, its price, its portions, follow the ones you aren’t jealous of and let those who appreciate good quality food enjoy it, ”one woman wrote.

According to reports from The Sun, Gordon’s Humble Pie Media and Humble Pie Productions are now worth £ 9.5million, an increase of £ 7million from the previous year.

Documents have revealed that the latter paid just under £ 1million in tax, while the former paid £ 142,000, meaning the Hell’s Kitchen star made around £ 6million sterling during the pandemic.

MailOnline contacted a representative for Gordon for comment at the time.

The reality TV personality has spent the money renovating his £ 7million mansion in London, intending to introduce a wine cellar and plant room, in addition to a bedroom in the basement.

It is hoped that a “more usable living space” could be created for his family by these proposed renovations on the four-story property.

Along with the expansion plans, Gordon intends to replace the four bedrooms on the first floor with a master bedroom, which would cover the entire floor, two en-suite bathrooms and an impressive walk-in closet.

Not only does the Michelin-starred chef want to add a bedroom in the basement, but he also submitted proposals to expand it and replace the existing work with a modern glass design.

Gordon is also the proud owner of three homes in Cornwall, his first purchased in 2015 for £ 4.4million.

At the time, it was the second most expensive sale in the Southwest County.

He obtained a building permit which allowed him to demolish it, creating in its place a main house and a second smaller median.

His family still had a place to stay during the works, as Gordon bought a second beach house worth £ 4million, located in the nearby village of Trebetherick.

Gordon’s third home in surfing paradise is a former Lloyds bank which he bought in 2017 for £ 2million.
