A grand jury indicted a 29-year-old man for shooting rapper Nipsey Hussle in Los Angeles.

Eric Ronald Holder Jr. has been indicted for one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and assault with a firearm, and one count of firearm possession by a criminal.

He could get life imprisonment if he is convicted.

Holder pleaded not guilty to the charges Tuesday. Prosecutors have previously charged him with the same charges, but the indictment allows them to avoid a preliminary hearing and lead a trial.

Hussle, a 33-year-old Grammy-nominated rapper and father of two, was shot in front of his clothing store on March 31.

Two other men standing with him were shot but not seriously injured.
