A Grand Theft Auto V player revealed that he always thought the in-game map looked a lot like the patriarch of the Simpson family, Homer.
According to a Grand Theft Auto V player, the game map looks suspiciously like Homer Simpson from The simpsons. Although it has been out for almost eight years now, Grand Theft Auto V still offers hours of entertainment – as well as interesting surprises – to its players today.
GTA V was a sensational success for its developer, Rockstar Games. The team added an incredible amount of content and detail in Grand Theft Auto V that even today there are areas of Los Santos that many players have yet to discover. However, while the smallest details in Grand Theft Auto V were carefully calculated and positioned by the game’s designers, there is an area that may have been created unintentionally (and rather comically).
As Redditor Mr_Hyy pointed out, when zooming out in its entirety, the map for Grand Theft Auto VLos Santos looks remarkably like the face of Homer Simpson. Sharing a side-by-side comparison of the Simpson Family Patriarch and GTA Vthe vast map of, Mr_Hyy simply said: “Can’t help it, my brain always saw the GTA V map this way. “Using Mr_Hyy’s image as a reference, it appears that the area around GTA VFort Zancudo is one of Homer’s eyes, while the upper areas of the city of Los Santos would be his recognizable facial stubble and mouth.
Turns out Mr_Hyy isn’t alone with their fun approach Grand Theft Auto Vof the map, with several commentators fully agreeing with this observation. However, it might not just be Homer Simpson who unexpectedly showed up to GTA V players; other Reddit users have also shared their own thoughts on the map, with some even revealing that in their minds they see Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pushing his sword forward.
Many fans of the Grand Theft Auto the series are now eagerly awaiting more news on the elusive GTA VI. Currently, there has been very little about the next game in the series officially shared by Rockstar, although there has been a lot of rumors and speculation among gamers. This continued silence from Rockstar has led some fans to take matters into their own hands, with a sign imploring the release of GTA VI even appearing during a recent AEW: Dynamite match. Meanwhile, an enthusiast burst onto the stage during a German game show, in an attempt to find out more about the date of the upcoming RGT the game is actually happening. However, despite an obviously passionate fan base, Rockstar did not give in to the pressure and remained silent on its upcoming Grand Theft Auto Release.
Grand Theft Auto V is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S on November 11, 2021.
