Now here’s something cool for GTA fans with a modified Switch – a Nintendo Switch Grand Theft Auto Vice City port has been released.
Last year, we reported that an unofficial port of Grand Theft Auto III had been released for Nintendo’s hybrid platform. Fast forward a year, and now we have an unofficial port of one of GTA’s best Grand Theft Auto games of 2002: Vice City.
As noted, those interested will need a modified Nintendo Switch to run this port, and while we don’t provide additional information on Nintendo’s mod platform, we wanted this happy news for fans of Nintendo nonetheless. GTA. In order to bring the port to the Switch, the team behind the project reverse-engineered the source code for GTA III and GTA VC. Previous ports of GTA III and Vice City have been removed following a DMCA claim. Fortunately, the ports now appear to be restored.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2002. The game was later released also on Xbox, PC and smart devices.
