She was released from the 53-year-old housekeeper sentenced to 10 years in prison for breaking the baccalaureate and being appointed to the state.
The decision had been taken previously by the Larissa Court of Appeal, after the intervention of a prosecutor, until the case was remitted to the Supreme Court and in because of the psychological situation of the 53-year-old woman and the health problems her husband was facing.
The woman had misinterpreted her bachelor's degree stating that she had finished Grade 6 while she was interrupted in clbad. That happened in 1996 and since then she has been working as a housekeeper for 20 years. She apologized for her act, thanked people for her great support and said that she had done it to find work and to be able to feed her children.
