Light: There is a smartphone with at least 5 cameras at the back in 2018

Light, the company that was introduced in an impressive multi-camera system with 16 sensors two years ago, is now working on a smartphone with five to nine cameras! The device will be available on the market before the end of the year

Light claims that its technology can offer 64MP photos, offering even greater resolution than the 40MP sensors at the back of the Huawei P20 Pro.

The addition of additional camera sensors allows manufacturers to create cameras that work well in low light conditions, offer more natural bokeh effects and take high resolution photos. Even though a single sensor of a modern DSLR camera can also achieve the same, installing multiple smaller sensors allows manufacturers to achieve results of comparable quality without having to make their thicker cameras

The maker is working with Light to deliver a one-of-a-kind device later this year, but this smartphone is expected to exceed $ 1,000. Light should be the first company among many companies to help future phone makers go through dual camera cameras in three, four or more lens systems, said DxOMark earlier this year.
