Those eagerly awaiting Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be able to wait for more than one beta for PlayStation 4's exclusive PlayStation 4 release, starting Aug. 3.

  • PlayStation 4 August 3 at 8:00 pm to August 6 at 8:00 pm)
  • PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (August 10 at 8:00 pm until August 13 at 8:00 pm)
  • PC Early Access Beta (August 10) 20 May at 8:00 PM at 20:00)
  • PC Open Beta (August 11 at 20:00 to August 13 at 20:00)

The private version of Mutliplayer Beta includes six cards, two of which will be displayed across the beta. Players will be able to play Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint and Search & Destroy with the brand new control mode. This mode will have alternating teams between attacking and defending a pair of static objective points, each group having a limited number of lives to spend in their efforts to be the first to successfully defend or capture points three times

Treyarch returns the Call of Duty Pick 10 system to allow players to customize the clbades they create. It also includes special broadcast equipment designed exclusively for each specialist at no cost of 10 points. In addition to the nomadic and prophet specialist, Treyarch will introduce new ones with their own game mechanics.

Everyone in the beta will receive a unique calling card and players who reach the maximum score will earn a token of permanent unlocking that they can use for any part of the Create-a-Clbad content that they choose when starting Black Ops 4.

Before that, however, Treyarch will make a second beta entirely focused on the new battle-royal mode, Blackout. "This is an exciting opportunity for us at Treyarch because not only are we putting more content into players' hands sooner than ever, but we can roll out new leads by hosting two beta experiments," said Dan Bunting. "The games are better when they are the result of a dialogue with our community, it improves the quality of the game, allows us to respond to requests from players and to adapt the experience to the way they play more.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released on October 12 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
