Afghanistan: Bus dropped into a mine – At least 8 dead – World

A bus filled with pbadengers was hit when a mine exploded today in western Afghanistan, leaving at least eight dead and 40 wounded, most of them women and children, officials said.

"It was a mine that the Taliban had set up to hit the men safe.But it hit a bus," a French police spokesman told the French Agency. Pharrera, Muhimbulas Muhib.
