The murder of this 86-year-old man was arrested in December 2016, after new evidence was drawn from the investigation. A charge of robbery was motivated by robbery.
However, the three-year-old judge was tried yesterday by the three-member Larissa Court of Appeal and found himself innocent. He is right that he said from the first moment that he had no involvement in the bloody robbery.
As he said from the beginning, yesterday before the Court of Justice, the accused always stressed that he was not involved in a robbery and that his fingerprints had were found at the home of the unfortunate because it had been there a few days ago with her aunt. The decision to acquit the 28-year-old man was unanimously pbaded by the Court of Appeal of three members of Larissa.
It is recalled that the unfortunate woman of 86 years found a horrific death in the hands of her murderers, whose motivation, according to the police investigation, was a robbery. The investigation took place two years later, in 2011, when the Volos security division released a criminal organization by arresting eleven people, six of whom were in custody, and filing a case against another fourteen .
The organization has counted five murders of elderly soldiers, fifteen flights to Larissa and nineteen flights to Volos. But the case was reopened in 2016 after new evidence with the capture of the 28-year-old man who finally turned out to be innocent.
