Large couples will be offered free vouchers at popular markets this year. The amount to be disbursed is 220,000 euros, resulting from the Thessaloniki metropolitan public procurement contributions and the number of supporting documents received by each beneficiary, depending on the number of applications to be submitted and approved.

The Economic Committee of the Central Macedonia region today approved the corresponding expenditure and credit allocation, followed by the printing of 220,000 vouchers of a value of one. euro each. "For the second year in a row, we are going to set up a social program with free vouchers available for sensitive social groups." Last year, the single-parent family with unprotected children was selected. has been done for the large family, "said Deputy Director of Regional Development and Environment, Kostas Youtikas.
As mentioned, the measure concerns large families with at least four children, including two minors, while the annual income of the family should not exceed 25,000 euros. "According to the requests that will be made, the amount will be shared in each family. If we have 500 applications, each family will receive 440 vouchers. If we have 600, each family will receive 365 vouchers. In addition, a breakdown will be made based on the number of children per family. For example, if a family has ten children, there will be something other than a family of four children, "said Mr. Yutikas.
According to the model of the anti-region, the coupons will be printed by the end of the year in order to receive buyers and make purchases in January and February 2019. For the first time, each beneficiary will also receive a list of folk markets and sellers to whom they can exchange vouchers. The stamps of the sellers accepting these vouchers will also be specific.
