A significant amount of contraband cigarettes was detected by the Ministry of Commerce Lamb in the Third Customs of Piraeus, with the badistance of the X-ray system and the special smoker dog Diablo.
More specifically, as announced, it is a container containing 12,500,000 cigarettes. In the shipping documents, the cargo has been declared "laminate flooring".
The corresponding duties and taxes on the cargo, intended to be transhipped in another Greek port, amount to 2.6 million euros.
