Alarms were reported in Melbourne as suspicious packages were sent to embbadies and consulates.
According to ABC, suspicious parcels were sent to the Greek consulate in Melbourne.
According to the Australian media, alleged packages were handed over to the US, Greek, French, Italian, Hong Kong, Indian, New Zealand, South Korean and Swiss consulates.
The authorities evacuated the Greek consulate and, until now, there is no indication that the staff or a foreign diplomatic mission has been injured.
The federal police has already opened investigations to determine if the content of suspicious items is dangerous.
"Packages are examined by experts," said the federal police.
