Speech on a pre-electoral context

"Today, you are in your biggest nightmare to come and vote one by one on the measures I announced at the TIF and you said that they would not be voted," the statement said. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, addressing the opposition.

He said in particular about the amendment to reduce ENFIA that with the proposed regulation, lower and middle clbad citizens would benefit from a substantial reduction in the burden next year.

"Of the 5.8 million taxpayers who have badets encumbered by ENFIA, they will experience a decline of more than 5.5 million, or nearly 90% of taxpayers.

More precisely:

– For property up to 60,000 euros, the reduction will be 30%. This amount concerns nearly 3.5 million of our fellow citizens.

– For properties ranging from 60,000 to 100,000 euros, the decrease will be 21%. And that concerns 1 million citizens.

– For properties ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 euros, the reduction will be close to 10%. And that concerns about 600,000 citizens ".

"To make it clearer," he continued, citing the following examples:

"- Homeowner 60 m² in Keratsini, a value of 60,000 euros will bring this year 157 euros instead of 224 euros, 67 euros less.

– Owner of 80 m² in Naples, Thessaloniki, worth 76,000 euros, will pay 162 euros instead of 232 euros, 70 euros less.

– Owner of a 100 m² residence in Peristeri, worth 90,000 euros, will pay 211 euros instead of 290 euros, or 79 euros less ".

"We are moving forward with a clear, focused and thoughtful clbad orientation for large numbers, a clbad unilateralism of 5.5 million, while your own unilateralism refers to an elite few, eminent", said the Prime Minister, adding: "The aforementioned cuts add an additional 20% weight that we have planned and that we have secured the financial area – this is already expected in the medium term for 2020".

He added that in the popular households, the reduction in 2020 would reach 50%. That's to say that at one and a half years, during the first offsets of 2020, they will see half of the tax that they do not see today.

Extremely important intervention to repair wounds in Mati

"An amendment for which we are voting today is an extremely important intervention because the conditions for the compensation of injuries in Mati, Attica, are defined," said Alexis Tsipras in the House.

He said that yesterday he was in the area and talked to the resident coordinators. "People are fighting every day to heal their wounds and, despite the great bureaucratic difficulties we face, we have been very successful in staying with them," he said.

He referred to the measures taken so far during these four months, the autopsy, the designation of the buildings, the financial support measures already granted and the removal of asbestos, the demolition of buildings and the unfolding of the slaughter.

With today's amendment, the Prime Minister has underlined, among other things, the possibility of issuing permits, the overall reconstruction of red buildings on terms that will not repeat the mistakes of the past.

He also publicly thanked Nikos Anastasiadis who, in a letter, informed him of the acceptance of Mr Tsipras' suggestion that the Republic of Cyprus would contribute to the construction of a public hospital in the area. affected region of Attica.

"Mr. Chiasar, you are sitting in the position of your leader, he probably will not come today. It is logical that the Greek parliament has another day to put in place relief measures for groups of citizens on a large scale, at the intermediate and lower levels, which have increased the burden, "said the Prime Minister, who commented on the absence of the ND president.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras criticized those who "cheat" and are "the initiators of ENFIA" because the government "did not abolish it".
