Three armed attackers invaded the ELTA branch of Vilia today at 8.30 am in order to steal a robbery.

At that time, police forces rushed to the local police station, followed by a shootout. According to the police, one of the perpetrators was reportedly injured during the exchange of gunfire and was reportedly transferred to the hospital, while the other two reportedly escaped temporarily.

For identification, a major police operation is underway in the area where a police helicopter is involved.

It should be noted that a similar incident occurred last night in a supermarket chain Sklavenitis, located at 10 Anapafseos Street, Vrilissia. In particular, the two armed men, with their masked faces, invaded the store and, on leaving, the D.IAS police force arrived, causing a shooting between the perpetrators and the police.

During the incident, one of the two perpetrators was injured and then transferred to CAT, where he was hospitalized, while the second was arrested by the police.
