A helicopter believed to belong to Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha crashed next to King Power and was enveloped directly in the flames. Daiy Mail supporters and players were shocked and eyewitnesses reported that the helicopter had fallen on the stadium parking immediately after takeoff.
British media reported that only Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha had attended the match against West Ham and that after each match, a helicopter took him to London to drive him to London. The area around King Power has been evacuated while Leicester players remain in the field.
Police in Leicestershire said: "We are dealing with a serious incident near King Power Stadium, the emergency services know what happened and try to handle it."
