The head of one of the two major contraband gold smuggling rings would be, according to information from the Athens-Macedonian news agency of police sources, the owner of a chain of lenders 51-year-old Richard Milonas, arrested with 58 people for her the ultimate case.

At the same time, it is considered that a well-known goldsmith also plays a role in a circuit. In the case, according to the police, other owners of pawnbrokers, foreigners and common criminal law people would also be involved.
It should be noted that in addition to the 59 arrests so far, gold and silver have been seized, as well as weapons, large sums of money and a lot of gold.
The company responsible for the dismantling of the two circuits was created by the Northeast Attica Security Division and the Maroussi Security Department, with the badistance of the Attica Security Directorate and ECAM.
Those arrested must be brought before the prosecutor today. The presentation of the case is expected to take place in the afternoon at the headquarters of the General Police of Attica.
