Square Enix revealed what we can expect from the Final Fantasy XIV crossover with Monster Hunter World.
As we learned from a recent blog, the crossover includes a Trial with the "King of Heaven", Rathalos. Those who have completed the basic scenario quest and are at least level 70 can battle the legendary creature.
You will be able to face Rathalos in the Normal and Extreme versions of "The Great Hunt". Trial The normal version requires 8 people, while the Extreme version is only 4.
Special prizes will be awarded to those who will play the new content. These include a new set of armor inspired by Rathalos, new Minions Poogie and Palico, Rathalos as a new mount, and new furniture in the form of a BBQ Spit
. The new content will be available on August 7th in Patch 4.36 with The Pagos Expedition
In the update we will see the following:
- New Quests in the Main Timeline
- New Sidequests – The Four Lords and More Adventures Hildibrand
- New Dungeons – The Burn and the Saint Mocianne Arboretum
- New Raid – Omega: Alphascape
