An event blocking the entrance of the Ministry of Transport forced driving school instructors to protest the abstention for two and a half months of driving examiners.

By abstaining, 50 000 candidate candidates are waiting all over Greece. In Attica alone, the number has risen to 30,000.

The trainers say that the main problem of their protest is the draft law of the Ministry of Transport which prohibits their participation in the first phase of the examinations.

"This entails the risk of an accident," said Panayiotis Harbis, secretary of the federation of driving instructors.

It should be noted that, according to a decision of the Federation, the trainers will appear before the Ministry and the transport directorates of the country every Thursday morning.
