The second month of events of the Patras International Festival completes his circle at the Roman Conservatory with the tragedy of Euripides "Electra", today at 9:30 pm
Shooting his subject from the cycle of the bloody generation of Atreides, the project follows step by step the course of Electra and Orestes towards the maternity. But the interpretation of the poet's preference in practice denies any justification, turning his own Electra into a ruthless study of the corrosive process of committing a crime: After the execution of the murder, the two brothers and sisters sink under the the weight of their act, an act that should never have been done.
