The EOPYY administration has granted e-consultations an extension of e-consultations, as policyholders can not find subcontractors for contract opticians due to the industry's refusal to contract with EOPYY.
As noted by EOPYY, it was decided to extend from one to three months the validity of all the electronic optician's notices issued or to be issued in October, November and December 2018, in order to give policyholders a reasonable time to find a video store offering accepts clearing with the payment statement.
It should be noted that since October 1, the optician's supply system has been changed, policyholders can visually buy a voucher of 100 euros in affiliated stores.
Opticians do not enter into a contract with the Organization, fearing that they will be paid late and have to make mandatory discounts.
EOPYY will re-invite the Panhellenic Optics Union and optometrists to a meeting and warn the industry of its use of justice.
As the Agency noted: "If the union remains in position after the meeting, order the legal department of the Agency to investigate all legal means to defend the rights of the beneficiaries of the Agency, since their opticians refuse to provide a service in violation of the legislation in force ".
It is recalled that opticians have already appealed to justice, considering that the procedure is illegal, their stores are private companies and the glbades are purchased with their own resources.
