It is therefore of utmost importance to prepare the United Kingdom to become a third country, even in the case of an agreement between the EU and the United Kingdom.
However, preparation for withdrawal from the UK is only a responsibility of the EU institutions, it is a joint effort at the level of EU, national and regional, involving economic operators and other private actors: everyone must now intensify preparations for all scenarios.
