The Macedonian parliament again pbaded the law on the ratification of the Prespa agreement. The second "yes" was again given by 69 deputies, after the refusal of the president Georgi Ivanov to sign the first agreement with Greece on the nomenclature

The parliament of Skopje ratified the agreement, on June 20, with 69 votes in favor and no votes against, as opposition members of the nationalist VMRO-DPMNE did not vote.

In order to vote on the Prespa agreement, a majority of 61 deputies to vote in favor is required. According to the constitution, the agreement is now referred to President Ivanov, who, according to the Constitution, is obliged to sign it.

According to the media in Skopje, Ivanov will not sign the decree approving the agreement and will implement the so-called "pocket veto", as was the case with the law on the expansion of the use of the Albanian language in country.
