Giannis Vouros grew Maria Louisa Vouros as her own child. Years later, she learned that she was not biological of the father and, today, she is talking about that moment.
In an interview with Kostas Tsouros, Giannis Vouros confessed: "When this question was revealed, something that Maria Louisa and I knew a year or two ago, we discussed the next day and solved the problem. Parenting relationships are not based on hematologic or DNA relationships. They rest on much more essential things, things in the soul, things that have to do with an embrace, they are based on emotions".
"We were almost together. Everyone may be thinking of the positive or negative sign of a DNA test. But when you have a paper that leaves no doubt about the result, there I do not know if the word shock is something that can characterize the situation, you just have to face the truth".
Yiannis Vouros had a relationship with Maria Louiza's mother, but they divorced during her pregnancy. When she gave birth, the actor recognized the child, but a few years later, through DNA testing, she discovered that she was not her biological father.
