Horror Moments for Aegean Flying Travelers to Kavala – They were back at "El. Venizelos"

Pbadengers on the Aegean afternoon flight from Athens to Kavala were living on Tuesday afternoon, as the plane did not land at Chrysoupolis and was forced back to Athens.

As stated by the carrier, the inability to approach the runway of the airport "Alexander the Great" due to extreme weather events in the region (air, rain) prevented the company to approach the track.

It was flight 154 that left Athens at 18:40 and landed at 19:40 at the airport "Alexander the Great".

Shortly after 20:30, the plane loaded with pbadengers bound for Kavala landed at the airport "Eleftherios Venizelos".

Due to weather conditions and inability to land, the regular night flight between Kavala and Athens was canceled.

The pbadengers of the plane spent the night in a hotel at the expense of the airline and had to be promoted Wednesday morning in Kavala for an extraordinary flight.

The reasons why no nearby airport has been used for landing, such as Thessaloniki or Alexandroupolis, are also unknown.
