Many visitors rushed yesterday to the Penteli Visitors Center of the Athens Observatory to enjoy the unique spectacle of the Moon.
Many of them were forced to leave disappointed as they failed to enter the field and watch the Moon and Saturn through the telescope.
The Visitors' Center, apologizing to those who suffered, attributed the problem to the mbadive crowd of citizens, as more than 1,800 people with their cars went to the center, managing up to 39 to 200 people a day. Indeed, the announcement notes that there will be a strategic design for public management, so as not to repeat similar phenomena in the next big astronomical event.

Dear visitors of the Penteli Visitor Center,
we really regret and apologize to you and the neighbors of the Observatory for the discomfort of yesterday to watch the beautiful spectacle of the eclipse
We, as well as amateur astronomers with their equipment and selfless offer, whom we thank warmly, we tried to serve their cars. Unfortunately this was not possible and even though most of them saw the Moon and Saturn through a telescope and heard of the phenomenon, some were disappointed by the torrent of people who invaded the planet.
