The running of the competition for the project "Digital Transformation of Greek Football with Modern Digital Media" was the subject of a meeting that was held yesterday (27 November) in the offices of the national network research and technology (GRNET SA). decision-makers, namely the Deputy Minister of Sports and the Ministry of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Information, the Secretary-General for Digital Policy, Mr. Stelios Rallis, Chair of the Evaluation Committee composed of three members Kyriazis, the President of the EPO, Mr Grammenos, the EPO's legal adviser, Mr Holevas, the chairman of the EPO's central arbitration committee, Mr Pereira and the President of GRNET SA, Prof. Tsanakas.
The chairman of GRNET indicated that, following the agreement of Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, GRET has conducted a public consultation on the "Super League Interconnection Service with VAR Business Center". ". Through this service, a state-of-the-art fiber optic network, enabling high data rates, will connect the 16 stadiums of the Super League to the VAR Business Center.
The Secretary General of Digital Policy has set a very tight timetable for the implementation of the project, always in compliance with the provisions of the current legislation and the regulation on public procurement. The strict deadlines set by Mr. Rallis have been accepted by all parties so that the competition ends in December and the project begins to be implemented by the end of January 2019.
Finally, the Secretary General for Digital Policy informed Mr Pereira of all the measures taken by the government to modernize Greek football.
