Completing this year's 14 years of operation, the International Aegean Sea Festival, which begins Sunday, will be celebrated on Sunday, July 29, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the death of Gioachino Rossini (1868) with demanding performances: listen to "Stabat Mater" and his favorite opera "La Cenerentola" ("Cinderella"). It is well known that the Festival attracts artists from around the world from different countries, as well as the fact that it has become a summer destination for art lovers. 39, art of Europe and other countries plays It should be remembered that in 2011, the Aegean Festival was proclaimed "the best artistic organization of all Greece" by the Committee of Music critics of the Association of Theater and Music Critics of Athens. MidAmerica Productions and MidAm International are the main producers of the Aegean Festival in Syros, in cooperation with the Municipality of Syros, Mayor George Marangos and Deputy Mayor Thomai Mendrinou. MidAmerica Productions was founded in 1983 and has produced more than 1,300 concerts worldwide, including 550 at New York's historic Carnegie Hall.
MidAm International was founded in 2012 and has produced and presented concerts in Florence, Verona, Venice, Vienna, Salzburg, Paris, Prague, Berlin, Budapest, Lisbon, Porto, Macao (China) and Syros.
