The cadastre has entered its most critical phase. The cadastre announced on Thursday, June 20, 2019 the suspension of temporary cadastral maps and charts for six areas of the Thessaloniki Regional Unit.

According to the Hellenic cadastre, the procedure of posting concerns the following prefectural communes:

Epanomi, Nea Michaniona and Aggelochori, municipality of Kallikratiko in Thermaikos and Agia Paraskevi, Kardia and Trilofos, Kallikrati, municipality of Thermi, Thessaloniki regional unit, Central Macedonia region.

Cadastre: Second chance for those who have not made a declaration

As indicated in the corresponding announcement, the temporary cadastral maps and the temporary cadastral maps will be posted in the cadastral offices and will remain for a period of two (2) months from June 20, 2019.

In the meantime, according to the cadastre – which has already pointed out that the participation of citizens in the land register is limited – any person with a legitimate interest can ask for a correction or an objection concerning the elements of the display at the service of the competent cadastre . For non-residents and the Greek state, the corresponding period is four (4) months. In particular, for a request for correction of a manifest error, the submission deadline is July 3, 2020. Late submissions may also be submitted by the same date.

It should be noted that the holders also participate in the holders who, for some reason, have not filed a declaration of ownership until today, the cadastre offering, as it says, "another opportunity to register their right and to avoid unnecessary problems in the future ".

According to the Hellenic Land Registry, landlords located in the aforementioned areas may be served at local land registration offices.
