The fight against terrorism and, in particular, the prevention of its financing, was the subject of an Israeli-Greek-Cypriot working group.
The meeting was held with the participation of senior government officials and security authorities from the three countries, said the Israeli Embbady in a statement.
The experts examined the legal and regulatory frameworks governing the fight against the financing of terrorism. They also exchanged information on national counter-terrorism strategies and agreed to strengthen international and regional cooperation through joint initiatives.
This working group is the result of the first tripartite country summit held in Nicosia in January 2016.
The next meeting of the Working Group on Counter-Terrorism will be held in Nicosia in 2019.
