On Wednesday 31 October 2018, the Greek Armed Forces participated in the multinational exercise "NEMESIS-2018", organized in Cyprus under the direction of the Larnaka search and rescue coordination center.
The aim of the exercise, which was attended by non-Cypriot, French, British, American and Israeli forces, was to develop cooperation in search and rescue, asymmetric threats and protection of the marine environment. .
In particular, the Greek armed forces participated with a frigate, a C-130, as well as personnel from 31 Rescue Squadron and the 865th Air Supply Battalion.
