By 2025, there will be more than 75 billion connected devices in the world, ranging from smart home appliances to online health devices, posing a real threat to cybersecurity. As more and more connected devices are used in everyday life, the number of personal and sensitive data increases as well as the number of entry points in the networks.

As he says Matej Krištofík, ESET Product Manager,

"The hackers will use to their advantage the increase in the number of interconnected devices and users will have to take security measures. The addition of IoT protection to the product line for home users means that our customers can be safe knowing that the devices and home routers they are connected to are properly protected "

As in previous years, users can choose between ESET NOD32 Antivirus for basic protection, ESET Internet Security, which offers additional security levels in addition to a basic malware solution, and its security features. ESET Smart Security Premium, intended for users seeking the most advanced protection and the most advanced features of the market. This includes functions such as, for example, Pbadword Manager.

All ESET solutions, with technology based on engineering learning and knowledge gained from thirty years of experience, work quietly in the background. Basic solutions provide users with convenient, high-speed scanning without affecting the operating system or their experience.

"We are developing our products to provide an added benefit to integrated Windows protection, showing users how a multilevel approach to cybersecurity can address the most daunting threats"

The latest version offers new features as well as enhancements to existing ones such as:

  • Product recommendation – a new feature that gives all ESET users the ability to recommend the product to family members or friends. Trial users are rewarded: creating a friend equals an extra month of free protection.
  • Security reports – provides users with an overview of what ESET has detected, blocked, and deleted, while these users' computers are running smoothly.
